learning by doing in small steps

What is the real problem?

A hands-on session to help you see your problem more clearly and take the right next step.

Most problem solving does not fail because of bad ideas. It fails because the real problem was never clearly understood.

In this 2-hour live session, you will work on a real challenge from your own context and learn how to approach it using A3 Thinking. This is not about applying a template. It is about learning how to think through a problem and lead the conversation around it with more clarity and direction.

You will not solve the problem in two hours. But you will understand it more clearly, and know how to move forward.

What you will work on

In this session, you will work on a real challenge from your own context and:

  • explore what is currently known and what is not
  • begin to frame the problem more clearly
  • identify assumptions that need to be tested
  • start to structure your thinking
  • define concrete next steps

What this will help you develop

After the session, you will be better able to:

  • slow down your thinking before rushing into solutions
  • distinguish between assumptions and facts
  • ask better questions about the problem
  • structure messy situations in a more disciplined way
  • notice your own thinking and potential biases
  • take the next steps with more clarity and intention

A focused 2-hour online session for leaders who want to make progress on a real problem.

Tuesday 16 June 2026

14:00 to 16:00 CET

Price: EUR 170

Work on a real challenge and take a structured next step. You are encouraged to bring a problem from your current context. This session gives you a clear starting point and a way forward.

Limited to 8 participants to allow real interaction.

Who this is for

This session is for leaders who want a more structured and effective way to work through real, complex problems.

You may be leading a team, a function, a site, or an organization. The context may differ, but the challenge is often the same:

  • the problem is not clearly defined
  • different perspectives and opinions pull in different directions
  • the situation feels messy or unclear
  • there is pressure to act, but not enough clarity to move forward confidently

This is most useful if you are working on a problem where:

  • the answer is not yet obvious
  • the path cannot be fully known in advance
  • understanding needs to be developed step by step
  • people need a shared way to think, learn and move forward together
